On June 14th of 2013, MSSL of Contra Costa debuted at Emeritus of Barrington Court in Danville, CA. In the morning, the officers and founders showcased a wide variety of instruments, ranging from the brass trumpet to Chinese instruments like the “dizi” and “pipa.” In the afternoon, more than twenty students performed. Many thanks to Campana Music of Lafayette for their kind contributions to MSSL as well as Mr. Douglas Christman for tuning the performing piano at this venue.
