On Friday, December 21st, 2018, three MSSL officers went to the Walnut Creek campus of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital to meet with Dr. Mary Jones, the director of Katie’s Clinic for Rett Syndrome, Erica Robertson, the Program Coordinator, and Mrs. Nues, the mother of Katie Nues, to deliver a $250 donation from MSSL. A special thanks to former President Serena Wang for accompanying us! MSSL raised funds via community performances and donations from kind community members. MSSL’s donation goes towards bringing back music therapy to the clinic.
