Dear all,

With great sadness, the Music Students Service League of Contra Costa announces the news of the passing Dr. Mary Jones, the director of Katie’s Clinic for Rett Syndrome, with which we have been long-time partners.

Without Dr. Jones, MSSL would not be what it is today. She put so much time, energy, and effort to help MSSL organize events and connect us to wonderful causes to donate to. Most notably, Dr. Jones introduced us to Katie’s Clinic and greatly impacted our mission to serve those in need.

She was there at the very beginning of MSSL’s formation, and gave us courage that our music could help others. Her iron will and heart of gold will always live on through us.

Dr. Jones was a guardian angel to so many patients, friends, and family. May she Rest In Peace.
