MSSL and Macy’s Fashion Show!

On April 28, 2018, MSSL collaborated with Macy’s at Walnut Creek to host our first ever fashion show in support of the Katie Nues Foundation! The show included a raffle with three lucky winners; a runway show; shopping bags; continental breakfast; all provided by Macy’s. We were so glad that Emily Blanco and Samantha Corpus, young women with Rett Syndrome, were able to join us at this event! We had about one hundred and fifty people RSVP for the event, and even more showed up! Thank you so much to our volunteer models and our MSSL officers for their hard work preparing for this event and for CCMTAC teachers and board members for supporting us! Thanks to everyone’s support and effort, Macy’s increased the donation to the Katie Nues Foundation from $5,000 to $7,000!

Special thanks to Macy’s Representatives:
Maria Padilla-Angel – General Manager
Emily Stanchi – Assistant Manager
Maryanne Guerini – Cosmetics Manager
Lesle Nelson – Personal Stylist
Elba Navarrete – Personal Stylist
